The school year has been off to great start! Our class was able to attend the Kansas State Fair this week and had a fun time. Our class has another couple of students that should beginning their transitions back into their base school. We are super proud of the progress these students have made and they are excited about their upcoming transitions. As a class, we continue to work daily on our reading and math skills on an individual level. In social studies, the class has been working on learning about our communities. In science, we are going to be starting a unit on Invisible Forces. The unit will discuss pushes and pulls are forces that cause things to change how they are moving, how magnets push and pull at a distance, friction is a force that resists sliding motion between 2 objects and how different materials have different strengths and weaknesses.
