Well Fall has official arrived and the cool crisp air in the morning is a nice way to start our day after our breakfast. We have also gotten to enjoy taking some walks around the college a couple times now that it has cooled down to enjoy the beautiful garden. The students have gotten well into the Reading curriculum and doing well with it. They have been enjoying reading about all the different stories throughout them and they are all moving through them steadily. In Social Studies, the student are learning about U.S. Government, especially since it is an election year. Hopefully after the next couple semester they will have a basic knowledge of the government. In September, our class got to go on a field trip to the State Fair. We got to see butter sculptors, the biggest pumpkin at the fair, go on a tour of farm animals, pig races, and many other activities. We had a blast, but were exhausted!!!
