Hello all,
This month has been busy as always. I am very proud of all the hard work students are putting in during math class- we are seeing lots of progress and new skills finally clicking and it is great to see their confidence grow along with their grades! We are also making progress learning about living things in science, along with a few more trips to the garden. The students have really responded to taking care of the plants and exploring the pollinators as well.
Last week a few of our high school students got to participate in Disability Mentoring Day. We took a tour of the Wild Mustang Program at HCF and learned about rehabilitation for horses and prisoners. The students really enjoyed learning more and meeting some of the horses.
We are looking forward to our first holiday celebration with Halloween around the corner - please encourage your students to keep up the good work so we can have fun together!
