Katie Class

Hello Everyone,

It's "spooooooky" season around here. We have decorated our classroom for Halloween and had a lot events going on. We have been working really hard on our curriculum and have had many students even level up, which is very exciting. I got to talk to several parents/guardians for parent teacher conferences and show how hard each of the students are working. We have continued to learn about the government and the branches, we have really been taking a deep dive trying to help the students understand government to get ready for the election year. It is hard to believe how fast the first nine weeks went. We have had several of our secondary students enjoyed going swimming on Fridays at the YMCA, and we have taking walks around HCC since it has cooled down. Last week, our several of our secondary students got to enjoy the day at the P and N pumpkin patch. They enjoyed racing down the slides, burying each other in the corn, and getting lost in the corn maze. We had so much fun there! I will places some pictures below of our adventures from October and we can't wait for what all the "Thanks" November will bring to our classroom.
