Ms. Jessica's Class News

Our secondary students have had a busy few months! We have been working a lot on being flexible and working on our goals even when challenges arise. In science we learned about forces and created an experiment to explode a pumpkin using rubber bands. We also got to carve pumpkins , write spooky stories with Mrs. D, and trick-or-treat thanks to the ESC staff. We visited Ms. Becky at the YMCA children's garden one last time before winter hits as well. As we transition into the holiday season, we are still working on our math skills but will also take some time to enjoy activities together and work on interpersonal skills. While we plan to enjoy the warmer weather and sunshine while it lasts, don't forget to send appropriate gear for playing outside even as it cools off. If you need help getting a hat, gloves, or coats for your student let us know. We are happy to help!
