I hope everyone had a wonderful winter break! Looking forward to what 2023 has in store for our class. This month our class was able to earn a trip to the Cosmosphere. The students all did a great job and enjoyed themselves.
Next month, our class has another outing planned to the Fox Theater to watch "The Lightning Thief." The students have been working hard at their ELA and math skills. In Science we recently started a unit on Stormy Skies. The students will investigate and make predictions about the weather through careful observation of the clouds and wind. Students also learn to differentiate between weather and climate and use models to reveal global climate patterns. In social studies we are working on a maps and community unit. Students will learn about the different kinds of communities and work on reading and understanding maps.
